"Population and settlements" as an element of socio-cultural portrait

The article is devoted to the study of one of the elements of the sociocultural portrait of the Sivinsky municipal district - «Population and Settlements». This element is an integral part of compiling a sociocultural portrait, with the help of which, in turn, it is possible to assess the sociocultural situation in the district, its position in the sociocultural space of the region and the country. The element «Population and Settlements» directly allows one to estimate ethnocultural, social features, the demographic situation in the region, its dynamics and development; makes it possible to identify a relationship with other elements of the portrait, and based on the data obtained, make comparisons with other territories.
