Our experience of performing J. Ertl osteomyoplastic operative procedure in amputation surgery

The results of using osteomyoplasty in amputation surgery of 222 patients are given. It has been demonstrated that use of osteomyoplasty is intended for formation of functionally active amputation stump, based on physiological status restoration. This technique can be used for amputations in traumatological and vascular patients with great success and high level of patients' satisfaction.
