Violence to women in Mongolia

The article analyzes the gender changes in socio-economic status of Mongols in the reform period. Some aspects of heavy and unstable situation of Mongolian families are considered, such as lowing of birth rates, transition to families with few children, contemporary gender stereotypes, women's rights, domestic violence and discrimination of women in the Mongolian society, the activities of the National Center against Violence.
