Domestic violence: essence and types

The article deals with the actual social problem of domestic violence, which has its roots since ancient times and is quite common at the present time. Family violence is understood as the violence of men against women or the violence of women against men in the family, as well as the violence of parents against children. Different types and forms of violence are considered - physical, economic, sexual, psychological. Domestic violence reflects the existing disharmony between the sexes in all societies. The reason for this phenomenon may be different circumstances that cause the manifestation of violence. In Russian society, women do not feel protected from the violence of spouses and other close relatives.
