Natural and cultural heritage are considered as a unit - information potential of the territory. Here is shown the dependence of accommodation of the heritage objects on the structural features of the regions' natural- cultural skeleton. It is said, that the theory of the polarized landscape does not describe the diversity of the natural-cultural interactions while the concept of the natural-cultural skeleton allows explaining many laws of the process of cultural development of the territories and geographic distribution of the heritage objects.
