The article describes the history of the creation of the Agricultural Scientific commission of Ukraine, its activities from 1919 to 1927 when it was renamed into Scientific Advisory Council, and then from 1927 to 1930. The article presents analysis of the main trends of scientific and communicative activities of scientist B.N. Rozhestvensky.
