The scientific school of the Belarusian State University of culture and arts in the humanitarian space of social and cultural activity

In an article in the modern humanities research is given characteristic of scientific school, established on the basis of the Belarusian State University of culture and arts. The author reveals the main direction of scientific School BGUKI “Pedagogy social and cultural activities”, witch laid the Yadviga Dominikovna Grigorovich. The author give a characterization of a contribution to the development of this direction of such scholars as: V.S. Goncharova, L.I. Kozlovskaya, I.A. Malakhova, N.V. Semersova, T.S. Gazhevskaya, O.V. Rogacheva, N.V. Petukhova. The article notes that the subject of the dissertation study at University are the rehabilitation of specific groups (children, young people, socially disadvantaged people and disabled persons with deviant behavior) by means of socio- cultural activities.
