Research laboratory of history and theory of culture of ESSIC: formation, development and achievements.

The article analyzes the process of formation, development and achievements of the research laboratory of History and Theory of culture of East Siberian State institute of culture. During the whole period of its activities the laboratory has significantly influenced the formation of the specialists in the field of folk art culture, opening of the specialization postgraduate course at the higher educational institution and dissertation councils for the defense of the candidate and doctoral theses. Thanks to its work, the teachers of the higher educational institution have the opportunity to develop their research in the field of history and theory of culture.
