Popular science and industrial tourism as tools of technological development in the Russian Federation

The article examines popular science and industrial tourism as important tools for technological development in the Russian Federation. In the context of changing technical and economic paradigms, special attention is paid to children's and youth tourism, which contributes to economic growth, human capital development and helps young people realize career opportunities, increase the prestige of blue-collar jobs and develop professional competencies. The paper discusses key programs and projects, such as "More than Travel", "Student Tourism.RF", "University Shifts", aimed at introducing the younger generation to the educational, research and industrial base of Russia. Particular attention is paid to the development of tourism in the Central Federal District, in particular, in the Tula Region, where the prospects for the development of children's and youth tourism with an industrial and scientific component are considered. The importance of improving infrastructure for the successful development of youth tourism is also emphasized.
