Today, the importance of innovation has increased many times. The economies of the developed countries switched to a new, innovative way of development, in which the scientific and technical potential of each region became the main engine for the development of the whole country. The article examines the scientific and technical potential of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania, as well as suggests ways to solve existing problems in this area by creating an Innovative cluster.
