Research study of the Evens of Yakutia in the 1960s - 1980s

The article presents the history of research focused on the Evens of Yakutia during the 1960s - 1980s. The author identifies and considers the main research projects carried out during this period, their members, methodology, territorial scope, and key areas of interest. At that time we observe the reduction in the scale of ethnographic research, primarily due to the lack of specialists in the field of Tungus studies in Yakutia. At the same time, considerable success was achieved in the study of the dialects of the Even language, as well as collecting folklore materials. In addition, it is from the 1960s that the native speakers began to play a leading role in the research study of the Even language.
