Scientific heritage in the history department of the Earth’s Crust Institute of the SB RAS: Yu.V. Komarov - an organizer of the geological museum

The article is devoted to the organizer of the Geological Museum of the Earth’s Crust Institute, Sc. Doctor in Geology and Mineralogy, professor, Honored Scientist of the Republic of Buryatia Yu.V. Komarov. The article considers the work and scientific activities of Yuri Vasilyevich; presents the exposition dedicated to the 100th anniversary of his birth; tells the story of creation, development and transformation of the museum into the history department of the institute, preserving and demonstrating the collected multifaceted geological information in the form of visual stands and thematic collections.
