Scientific substantiation of the creation of industrial forest raw material plantations in the Republic of Tatarstan

The paper presents the results of research justifying the creation of industrial pine plantations with a shortened growing period (30-50 years) for producing balance wood in the South-East of the Republic of Tatarstan. The rationale (normative and legislative, forestry and economic) convincingly proves the need to create and implement on a large scale a new direction in the use of forests of the Republic of Tatarstan, which will have a positive impact on the forestry economy of the region. The project also has a social focus - it will create new jobs. In addition, its implementation will contribute to improving the environmental conditions of the region.
