Scientific activities of the Council for the study of productive forces of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR for the study of eastern territories in 1931– 1941

The Council for the Study of Productive Forces was established by the Academy of Sciences of the USSR in 1930 for the purpose of comprehensive study of the country's natural resources. The article is devoted to the convening of scientific conferences and meetings, which was one of the main activities of the Council, along with the organization of scientific expeditions.
