In recent years researches of flora and vegetation of Samara oblast are revealed new natural territories which are necessary for issuing as botanical nature reservations of regional value: Zasyzransky settlement, Preobrazhenskiy steppe, natural boundary Moss. As a part of flora of these sites unique complexes of rare types of the plants, needing special protection. Their number reaches 40.
