Scientific ideas concerning competitiveness of the national economy

Processes of global economic space integration and global economic market formation, alongside with objective nature of competition came to a level of individual countries and regions. Therefore developing long-term economic policy many countries set a national economic competitiveness as a key issue. In this regard there comes a need for studying current scientific beliefs concerning national competitiveness of the countries, which is a subject of this article.
