Scientific revolutions and their philosophical foundations

The article analyzes the problems of the bases of a modern scientific knowledge, examines the scientific standards. The author shows that the expansion of the phenomenon of scientific rationality is changing the foundations of science, these processes lead to the emergence and development of scientific revolutions. It reveals the need for new approaches to understanding the essence of scientific revolutions in epistemology and theory of knowledge.
