Science and entrepreneurship as a basis for the development of “smart cities”: social aspect

The article investigates the social aspect of the problem of development of so-called "smart" cities. In particular, it is shown that one of the significant factors in the development of the idea of a modern ideal city is the social orientation of science and entrepreneurship. The article also talks about the important role of information technology in the development of "smart" city.
