Science, education and security in the vector of movement towards the knowledge society

The article examines correlation between science and education in the context of society safety providing; therewith objective of the national security is combined with ambition for the knowledge society. The given data on the current state of the academic and educational complex of Russia expose substantial problems and threats, influencing all the social spheres and the society safety.
