Time management skill as a resource to improve a manager's efficiency

Introduction: the article discusses some of the terms of the leader’s effectiveness that make up the skill of time-management, namely, personal planning, delegation of authority and holding meetings. Materials and Methods: the exploration is based on the study of normative legal acts of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, which regulate the training of managers and establish qualification requirements for senior positions in internal affairs bodies. The methodological basis of the study was the general dialectical method of scientific knowledge, which is universal in nature, as well as methods of logical deduction, induction, cognitive methods and techniques of observation, comparison, analysis, generalization and description. The data obtained as a result of a survey of the heads of the operational units of the territorial bodies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia are given. Results of the study: reveal the reserves of increasing the efficiency of the heads of internal affairs bodies, which is interconnected with the effectiveness of individual units and the organization as a whole. Findings and conclusions: the need is substantiated for the formation of time management skills within the framework of various forms of training for managers in internal affairs bodies at all levels.
