The article is devoted to basic forms and methods of price and non-price competition. The article discusses the differences in perceptions factors. Thus for the understanding of the mechanism of competition is the importance of the correct identification of the causes through which it is possible to beat the competition, that is, the causes and sources of competitive advantage.
