The author explores the concept of «unfair competition». A comparative analysis of the definition in the Federal Law of 26.07.2006 № 135-FZ «On Protection of Competition» and the Paris Convention for the Protection of Industrial Property. Concludes imperfect definition of unfair competition in the Russian part of the national legislation, because of its narrower content compared to its interpretation of the Paris Convention.
