Investment process informal institutions in the Russian Federation

The article is devoted to the formation of an informal institutional basis for thedevelopment of the investment process in the Russian Federation. The questionsof transaction costs affecting the number of concluded investment transactionsare considered. The issues of agent-principal, the possibilities of opportunism,ways to prevent the unconscionable behavior of counterparties are analyzed. Theimportance of the atmosphere of social trust, which is necessary for the economicinteraction revitalization, content of the notion of «reputation» are studied. Thenecessity of creating a national system of ranking economic entities ranking issubstantiated.
