The oil and gas sector as a determining factor of the military campaign in Syria

The article carries out a monitoring analysis of the materials regarding the oil and gas sector of the Syrian Arab Republic, which is considered as a determining factor of political, economic and military campaigns of both various forces within the country and the leading world powers, multinational companies and corporations, criminal organizations (including terrorist ones). The authors’ aim is to show that the problem of energy resourcing is becoming ever more relevant, and the aspect of control of hydrocarbon production around the world is a strategic one.
