Untapped opportunities: facts (about the state of emergency and martial law in Ukraine at the beginning of 2014)

The paper explored the details on the legitimate routine of emergency set up in compliance with the Ukrainian legislation; the author examined the concept of and grounds for imposing the curfew and the martial law in Ukraine having responded to the events of the early 2014, and formulated his private position on relevance of wartime and the state of emergency for the sake of ensuring sovereignty and security for the modern State.
