The article highlights the problematic issues of establishing the involvement of gas stoves with electric ignition in the occurrence of fires and explosions of fuel - air mixtures. A criminal - legal assessment of such incidents is given, based on specific examples from expert practice. Recommendations are given to investigative and operational bodies to work directly at the sites of fires and explosions, with the aim of a comprehensive investigation of the scene.
