The unknown facts of the participation of compound artillery armored trains of the Red Army in the Battle of Stalingrad

The paper is aimed at revealing and describing the peculiarities of combat operations of some artillery armored trains during the Second World War. The article deals with the organizational-tactical questions of compounds armored trains during the Battle of Stalingrad. The efficiency of combat use of this kind of arms in the Red Army is analyzed.
