Neuroendocrine tumours of the lungs

The article describes etiology, classification and treatment modalities of neuroendocrine tumours of the lungs. A case report of successful bronchoplasty for the left mainstem bronchial carcinoid tumour is presented in the article. Mainstem bronchial sleeve resection without removal of pulmonary parenchyma was conducted in Thoracic and Abdominal Surgery Department of the Volgograd Regional Oncology Dispensary Clinic № 1.
