Some aspects of the "Case of Vera Zasulich": in the context of understanding by the personnel of the internal affairs bodies individual pages of the history of Russia

The article presents a historical analysis of a number of interesting moments related to the case of Vera Zasulich, which caused a surge of attention in Russian society at the end of the 19th century. to the problem of observance of human rights and a fair decision of the fate of every citizen who finds himself in a difficult life situation. According to the author, any deviation in the activities of law enforcement officers from the requirements of the principle of legality is inevitably accompanied by an infringement on human dignity and has a destructive effect on the maintenance of civil harmony in society. At the same time, the above fully applies to other actors of social interaction, whose actions should take place exclusively in the legal field.
