Some aspects of language studies in modern philosophical thought

This article analyzes the main methodological approaches in the philosophical study of language. The authors have studied the works of leading foreign scientists: F. de Saussure, Sh. Bally, K. Fossler, E. Koseriu, L. Yelmslev, and others, devoted to the study of destructive processes in modern language. In particular, some features of the development of language norms in the conditions of the crisis of the spiritual culture of modern society were examined.
