Some aspects of the effective development of urbanized areas

The article is devoted to the consideration of the processes of effective development of urbanized territories. The features of the development of modern urbanized territories leading to environmental pollution and further degradation are highlighted. It is noted that the greening of urbanized landscapes, their approximation to the natural environment increases the attractive image of the city, leads to an increase in the quality of life of the population living in these territories. Some physiological and ecological features of green spaces have been studied, which determine their important role in the greening of urbanized territories. It is noted that the growth of the ecological and economic competitiveness of the territory based on the application of an environmentally sound approach to the creation and operation of urban green spaces may cause an increase in revenues to the municipal budget.
