The Kyrgyz economy demonstrates resilience and the ability to adapt to the negative impact of external factors and modern geopolitical instability. Strengthening domestic demand has become the main factor in increasing economic activity. There is an increase in exports of goods. The significant increase in the country's GDP is largely due to close mutually beneficial cooperation with Russia and Kyrgyzstan's participation in the EAEU. Despite the sanctions restrictions, Russia retains its position as one of Central Asia's main trading partners in key sectors of the economy, and remains Kyrgyzstan's main strategic partner. In 2023, the trade turnover between Kyrgyzstan and Russia reached 3 billion US dollars, in 2024 the trend of accelerated growth continued, which is due, among other things, to the fruitful cooperation of Kyrgyzstan within the framework of the EAEU. High investment activity has a significant impact on the economic development of Kyrgyzstan, especially in the framework of government initiatives in the field of water supply, road infrastructure, textile production, and construction. Kyrgyzstan's further economic growth is closely linked to the effective development of agriculture as the backbone of the country's economy.
