Some aspects of assessment of executive agencies and their managers’ effectiveness in the Far Eastern federal district

The paper provides an overview of legal and regulatory framework, along with the assessment of individual effectiveness indicators for the executive authorities, the heads of federal executive bodies and senior officials in the regions of the Far Eastern Federal District for the period of 2012-2015. The assessment of separate indicators of social development in the regions, senior officials (heads of supreme executive bodies of state power) and executive bodies’ activity in the RF subjects, aimed at creating favorable conditions for business, shows the highest rates of effectiveness in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), Chukotka autonomous district. The least stable situation is characteristic of the Jewish autonomous region.
