The paper highlights the problem of freedom considered by Russian religious philosophers of late XIX - early XX centuries - N.A. Berdyaev, V. Solov'yov, F.M. Dostoevsky. Interaction of freedom and other philosophical and social categories has been investigated; the idea that the God fills the human existence with sense has been stated; the strive for spiritual freedom and moral ideal has been observed; the idea of universal unity has been proclaimed.
