Some aspects of sociocultural environment of the city of Irkutsk

The article discusses the concept of sociocultural environment of the city and its content. The authors describe in general the main structural elements of the sociocultural environment of the city of Irkutsk in the modern period (culture, education, recreation). It is emphasized that the sociocultural environment is important for the development of the city and for improvement of the quality of life of urban population.
