Some aspects of pupils' life in private secondary schools in the pre-revolutionary Urals

The article is devoted to different aspects of pupils' life in private secondary schools that functioned in the Urals in the post reformative period. The article points out some reasons, which influenced the pupils' demand for private schools. The article deals with the social statues of pupils in these schools. Also, the author analyses the problems of children up-bringing. The article presents pupils interests and extracurricular activities. Some typical disruptions of discipline are also considered in the article. The article studies pupils' further life and activities after finishing private schools. The author makes a conclusion that only children from reach families could afford to go to a private school. Though there were children from poor families who could study thanks to the activity of special Society of Assistance to poor children.
