Some data about ecology and distribution of Papilionidae (Lepidoptera) in Republic of Mordovia

Results of researches on studying of distribution and ecology of Papilionidae (Lepidoptera) in Mordovia are presented. Most often in republic meets of Papilio machaon which is noted in different opened biotopes at low number. Driopa mnemosyne is a local kind with the stable number changing largely on years. To rare species are carried Parnassius apollo and Iphiclides podalirius, and it is most rare of Zerynthia polyxena. The data on fodder plants of larvae and imago Papilionidae is presented.
