Several immunophysiological parameters in hemolymph of freshwater mollusk Dreissena polymorpha (Pall.) from the Rybinsk Reservoir are determined and analyzed in the paper. It is shown hemolymph protein and glucose contents in mollusks sampled in areas with different contents of anthropogenic pollutants in bottom sediments are various. In addition, maximal level of lysozyme activity is reported in mollusks sampled in area located near the place of municipal and industrial waste discharges of Cherepovets City. It is also shown the bottom sediments from this place have highest polychlorinated biphenyl content.

Rybinsk reservoir, polluting substances, zebra mussels, dreissena polymorpha, total protein, glucose, haemolymph, lysozyme activity
