In the article the development problems and changes in life quality of Mongolian family during the transformational period. In 1990-2005 most of Mongolian household income was spent on food, clothing and domestic services; and since 2005 they had started spend money on education, health services, luxuries. Based on the comparative study of socio-economic factors we identified positive and negative factors affecting the life quality of families.
