Some cultural and philosophical aspects of the script by A.I. Solzhenitsyn "In the first circle"

The article analyzes some cultural and philosophical aspects of the script of the television film “In the First Circle”, written by A. I. Solzhenitsyn based on the novel of the same name. The cultural and philosophical problems are revealed through the consideration of the problems of moral choice, freedom of thought, happiness, meaning of life, which are traditional concepts of cultural studies. The use of these concepts allows us to identify the features of the spiritual culture characteristic of the society of that time. Despite the difficult fates, the loss of loved ones and other hardships and hardships, the prisoners retain their strength of spirit and purity of soul. They are ready to defend their rights to life and respect them as individuals. The prisoners continue to learn about the reality around them, perceiving and evaluating the cycle of events. The author draws a conclusion about the relevance of issues raised in the script, since they are still the subject of human reflection.
