The article discusses some aspects of the morphology of erythrocytes from four species of lizards Lower Volga. Conducted a static analysis of the differences on grounds such as the length and width of the erythrocyte shape index and the surface area of the erythrocyte. In order to increase the surface area of a red blood cell is formed following series: sand lizard → steppe-runner → spotted toadhead agama → secret toadhead agama. Conjectured about the relationship of the results obtained with the level and prevalence of thermophilicity species studied.
