Some thoughts and judgments arising during the study of books about A. Pushkin

The article demonstrates that studying books about A. Pushkin requires from the reader to be rather scrupulous and well prepared for their perception and personal estimation. The reader must be capable of comparing his or her own estimation of these books with various points of view on one or another subject presented at different times, as any time period, being mostly characterized by a certain government ideology, gives rise to a specific interpretation of life and art of the great poet.
