Some features of the institution of joint will of spouses: comparative characteristics of the legislation of the Russian Federation and Ukraine

Purpose: Conceptualization of the interpretation and assessment of the joint will model viability in the legislation of the Russian Federation. Methodology: The study is based on structural and functional analysis, formal legal and comparative legal methods. Results: The article provides a comparative analysis of legal regulation and doctrinal approaches to a joint will in the Russian Federation and Ukraine. A conclusion is made about the essential features of the domestic model of the legal structure in question. Novelty/originality/value: The scientific value and practical significance of this article is expressed in the fact that a comparison of new legislative structures of the Russian Federation with the states where similar tools are applied in practice, allow us to determine the ways of their improvement and can be useful for further research.
