Some features of the creation of domestic and foreign enterprise management information systems

The creation of the first domestic and foreign enterprise management information systems is closely related to the development of electronic digital computers, as well as the needs of both planned and market economies. The prerequisites for the process were: the introduction of microelectronics achievements in computers, the improvement of technical and functional characteristics of machines, including the execution of logical operations, and the need for business entities to reduce production costs. A comparative analysis of the methodology for creating and functional application of domestic and American information systems for managing production activities is given. The article defines that the development of domestic information technologies for production management is carried out at the same stage as foreign developments. The domestic model of the enterprise management information system initially included the main functional elements of the enterprise structure and their relationships (logistics, production management and production chains, sales of finished products, financial and economic activities and accounting). Currently, at the state level, much attention is paid to creating their own information products on the domestic platform for the implementation of certain functions. Examples of such programs are the provision of public services to citizens, the implementation of fiscal activities, the formation of their own payment system, and others. In addition, the current social and economic situation associated with the pandemic encourages the development of digital telecommunications technologies.
