Some features related to the prevention and investigation of extremist and terrorist manifestations in the modern youth environment

The article is devoted to the special characteristics of the factors which form the determinants of manifestations of extremism and terrorism among young people, as well as the development of measures to prevent them. It includes an analysis of the state and dynamics of crimes of a terrorist and extremist nature in the Russian Federation, the main personality characteristics of young extremists. The methodological basis of the article was a comparative law, logical method, as well as a method of statistical quantitative analysis. The author provides statistics on the subject under study, which indicate its relevance. The article presents an analysis of the personality characteristics of the considered category of persons. Data of this analysis can be used in criminal investigation related to extremist motives.
