Some Approaches to Analysis of Healthcare Expenditure in Western Countries and Russia

Th e results of the analysis of health care expenditures in Western countries and Russia are presented. Health spending is a key indicator of the level of social development and shows how much the state and society pay att ention to their citizens and their health. Th e results obtained can be recommended to authorities and administrations of various levels for introduction into the system of strategic planning of budgetary and other expenditures on health care.
