The article considers approaches to evaluate the performance of public administration in the regions of the Russian Federation. It analyzes the connection between a particular organizational unit of the supreme executive body of state authority of the Russian Federation and the effectiveness of regional management, with the analysis based on the original author's methodology with the coefficient system, borrowed from the management and adapted to the system of governance.
