Currently, physical performance can be considered as an acceptable opportunity for a person to realize work structured by type and nature in regulated conditions. The study shows the results of testing the physical performance of athletes specializing in athletics combined events, of various qualifications. In total, 53 athletes took part in the study. The first group included qualified athletes (KMS), the second one included highly qualified athletes (MS-MSMK). The level of physical performance of the studied contingent is estimated by the Harvard step test and the PWC170 bicycle ergometric test. Multivariate correlation analysis is used to determine the degree of correlation between indicators of physical performance of athletes. In determining the physical operation in the Harvard step test, indicators of functional power, profitability and efficiency play an important role for the athletes of the 1st group, whereas indicators of functional power, stability, profitability and efficiency play a major role for the athletes of the 2nd group. The physical performance indicators established in the PWC170 bicycle ergometric test, determined for the athletes of the 1st group by characteristics of functional profitability and efficiency, as well as power, with the predominance of the latter; for athletes of the 2nd group - by parameters of functional power and stability.
