Some problems of England's early modern agrarian history in the works of Joan Thirsk

The article presents a review of the Oxford University professor Joan Thirsk's research on English agrarian and social history of the XVI-XVII centuries. In her works J. Thirsk studied agrarian policy of the Tudors and the early Stuarts. The author of the article also analyzed her concept of social peasants' struggle in the early XVII century and assessed its methodological basis.
