Some problems with the application of the prohibition of certain actions

Introduction: the article considers theoretical and practical aspects of application of prohibition of certain actions as a preventive measure in criminal proceedings. Attention is paid to the question of the legal nature of the prohibition of certain actions, its attribution to other measures of procedural coercion, rather than to preventive measures. The authors pay attention to some problems of application of the prohibition of certain actions in judicial practice, in particular, about the crediting of the time of their application in the final punishment, about the implementation of the prohibition not to leave the place of residence, as well as the issue of the list of restrictions imposed on the suspect (accused).
